LDM Enterprises (Leslie, Derek, Matthew brothers and sister) was started was started in 1977 by their father (Joe Scharlin, owner of Key Auto Recovery in Van Nuys CA since 1964) who found it virtually impossible to obtain the tools necessary to do all repossession work. Over the years, LDM Enterprises evolved into the most trusted resource to repossessors all over the world.

LESLIE SCHARLIN-MEDINA, a licensed Repossessor / Qualified Manager in California since 1988, has worked in her father's office enabling her to gain the most knowledge necessary on the day-to-day operations of both the field and the office regime.

Leslie has chosen to focus her career on the safety and education of repossessors all over the world. A graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Business / Marketing, Leslie has been able to utilize her education by compiling the most thorough catalog of resources available to repossessors. In doing so, she has expanded the knowledge of tools, keys, ignition and other items vital to both accusation and servicing of vehicles.

At present, Leslie is a raising her two daughters and guest lectures at a locksmith school several times a year.  Occasionally (when it fits into her girls’ soccer schedule) she teaches her two day intensive course which enables repossessors to gain knowledge in the most current technology.
